* Should students be obligated to learn a
foreign language in schools? Explain why. Include reasons and details to
support your explanation.==========================
I
think students have to learn mandatorily foreign languages in schools.
Firstly,
they can get more chances during in their paths. In other words, if they do not
learn any foreign languages, they cannot grip chances in other countries. For
example, if you want to learn about western history, you would better to go to Europe
to learn those things. Things you can learn in our countries are very limited. However,
if you did not learn those foreign languages at your early ages, you might need
more times to prepare it and less likely to be successful due to the cruel
truth that you were already lagged behind.
Secondly,
they can learn from the culture of other countries. As the language is not only
teaching communications but also their culture. Students who learned foreign
language in a school are more likely to have wider perspectives than who are not.
For instance, if you learn French, you might need to learn about their cultures
and ambiances. It clearly show that it can help students to understand various
cultural differences.
By those two reasons, they should be forced to
learn foreign languages in their early age in schools.
