This graph describes the income distribution according to the several continents in the world such as some part of Asia, Europe, Africa and America. Each section has two bars which can be subdivide into 20% of the poorest and 20% of the richest.

 

Generally, Europe& Central Asia, East Asia& Pacific, South Asia can be classified into lower level of economic inequality countries. However Latin America& Caribbean, Middle East& North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa can belong to the higher level of inequality countries.

 

Specifically, the most remarkable difference exists in Sub-Saharan African where the gap is almost 60%. Comparing to this Sub-Saharan Asia, that of Europe& Central Asia is considerably low as 34%. This means that the gap between the rich and the poor in Sub-Saharan Africa is very high, but in Europe& Central Asia the economic inequality is not so much worrying.

 

To sum up, although the discrepancy between the rich and the poor exists in every country, the level differs from the condition of each country.
