I attended a funeral service of my company colleague's grand father yesterday. I had to leave my company early not to be late for the funeral becauxe his hometowm was about 200km far away from Seoul. When I was just to leave my office, several colleagues asked me to deliver their condolence money to him. The condelence money is different according to the closeness of relationship. But it is a tradition to bring a certain amount of money with him when he attends a funeral or wedding ceremony here in Korea. These money could be a burden sometimes but we can't think of attending these ceremony without it. Now a days, these kind of events are more and more family events. Anyway I was happy to visit him and attended his grand father's funeral. Happy Thursday !!!
