Unit 1-1: Turn Back Time

 

 I always try to be satisfied with my life and I am doing well. However, If I have an ability to turn back time, I would go back to four years ago. At that time, I was in Canada to study English and I had many events to remember.

First event is my birthday party. That birthday party was held to celebrate my twenty-third birthday. I had beer and many delicious food with my friends. And also, I was able to get present from people who were invited to my birthday party.

When I was in there, I took a coach trip every weekend. I went to the Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands in Kingston, and New York. Near the Niagara Falls, there was casino that I could play Blackjack. I wanted to win but I lose 20 bucks in there. That is my first bad experience in casino.

I met many friends from other countries and learned a lot from them. It was quite tough in the beginning because of my poor english skill. But I studied hard and tried to keep good relationships with them. In the end, we can be a good friends. Through this experience, I was able to learn how to harmonize with people who has different backgrounds. I think living in abroad is like two sides of the same coin.

Because of that experience, I want to go back to four years ago. I hope to have that experience again.
