Good Morning!!! Happy Thursday!! :))
Thank you for letting me know that useful site!!
But.. I have a question!!! >.<
"To found principles of government upon too advantageous an estimate of the human character is an error of inexperience, the source of which is so amiable that it is impossible to censure it with severity"
This is today's quotation. In this sentence, is the reason of error based on human character which is fragile or soft?
Good morning!!
In my opinion. I think it's not about the fragility of human character but due to inexperience or lack of experience, they estimated/underestimated the human character. I tried to find the article related to this quote and read some parts of it. In the early part of the speech, it talked about the complex nature of man which is related to its innate desire to own personal properties rather than communal properties. The speech is very philosophical.
Have a good day ahead!
